2024 Guillaume Lafon Champgain, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru, France Piero Busso Soil VaryingChampgain is sourced from a steep, mid slope plot famed for its limestone rich soils; Lafons sustainably farmed vines produce fruit for this wine. Grapes are hand harvested and whole cluster pressed, then spontaneously fermented in barrel before maturing for 12 months in oak (20% new). The wine then rests for 6 months in tank, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
