Acting as active hunters with a cruising behavior, they seek out lethargic, deeply located hosts such as Japanese beetle larvae (Popillia japonica), rootworms, wireworms, and other beetle and fly larvaemoving effectively at depths of 1 to 7 inches. These nematodes penetrate insects through
