1936 Print Cold Mask Japan Horse Show Geisha Tokyo Art Manchurian Incident FZ2 XGBC6 THK2A10C08This is an original 1936 halftone print of Japanese geisha's having their hair done on the left, and on the right, a girl wearing a mask at the Tokyo Horse Show. The mask was worn to prevent the spreading of germs and colds. The caption writes, "She [Japanese women] will often wear the traditional coiffure of the Japanese, an elaborate whorling structure buttressed and cemented with combs and fish grease (the geisha affect a similar style, as seen to
