This bead and others like it have long been traded along the Sahara trade route, The Silk Road. Condition is very good, and this square shaped bead is very rare. Size is 14mm across x 12mm tall, and there are various sunburst "eyes" and patterns. Core is black with white lines framing the bead. The colorful red and white eyes are delicate detailed multi
