Vintage Brass Half-Globe Ashtray republican MM - 9924 - 070824c. 1960s Vintage spherical ashtray with ash receptacle. This piece appears to be in the form of a decorative globe, with 12 "wedges" representing the standard 12 gores on globes. The top portion is on two small hinges that allows the user to empty ashes into the inner chamber for later disposal.
