1927 Tipped-In Blackmore Tintex Print Epsom Races Racecourse Thornhill Colt XAL7 XGCD1 This is an original 1872This is an original 1927 tipped in Blackmore Tintex color print of an 1819 coloured aquatint of "Epsom Races," originally designed by H. Alken and engraved by T. Sutherland. In the image, Mr. Thornhill's Chesnut ColtSam, beating Lord Darlington's Grey, and Sir John Shelly's Prince Paul for the Derby Stakes, May 28th, 1818. This sporting collection of tipped in color prints employed a Blackmore Tintex Printing technique, which, at the time, served as a
