We Sell Peanutine, Early 20th Century Cyanotype RPPC of Donkey Pulled Peanut Shaped Vending Cart, Maine allen boston cdv entirely handmadeI found this one in New Hampshire, but am pretty sure it was taken at Old Orchard Beach in southern Maine, where I've learned donkey pulled peanut shaped carts selling "Peanutine," a peanut and molasses confection made in Old Orchard, were a thing in the 1890s to early 1900s preceding the invention of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile by a good 40 years! I've found a few images of tourist postcards produced in the first decade of the 1900s featuring
