Lovely c. 1920s Isleta Pueblo Pottery Basket early watercolor Signed MostromI have a particular love for the painted patterns and combination of black and orange on Isleta Pueblo pottery, which is symbolic here checkerboard patterns that I believe symbolize rain combined with orange circles with dots at their center that I believe reference either suns or flowers. This is an early example of Isleta pottery (New Mexico) made for the tourist market, c. 1920s. 5" widest diameter x 5 1 4" tall and in very good condition, with
