I Will Never Retreat! (The 54th) precious 25 inches (framed size) -A limited edition work of art that pays tribute to the legacy of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. In response to President Lincoln's call for additional soldiers, the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment became one of the first all black military units to serve in support of the Union during America's Civil War. This regiment was formed by recruiting free African Americans primarily from Northern states. The regiment earned a reputation for
