they seem to be quite the collector's items

I just think they're beautiful

but believe this is most likely by a Nootka (Nuu-chah-nulth) carver  from the SW Coast of Vancouver Island

with very little paint loss

Field pin which I love for itsThis old painting fills me with a sense of well being as I imagine those picked peaches just picked and still warm from the sun, and the pitcher filled with fresh cream, maybe from the cow of its painter! Not a masterpiece but pretty charming, and I especially love the peach pit sitting there as testament to the peaches' deliciousness! Oil on board, framed in just the right old cream painted wooden frame, where it has probably lived since it was made.
