A Purple Heart in Case Archive Reinstituted by Kaiser Wilhelm IIIn bronze gilt with red, white, green and purple enamels, measuring 34. 5 mm (w) x 47. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon with brooch pinback, extremely fine. Accompanied by the ribbon bar, and enamelled boutonniere. Contained in a clear plastic case with removable velvet medal bed with blue plastic base and clear lid, light wear, very fine.
