COTTERELL and STERLING on the 6 oclock arm, full size, light contact marks and small scratch on the obverse 6 oclock arm, lovely patina, near extremely fine. Footnote: Thomas Cotterell was born in Surrey, England in 1890. He enlisted with the 198th Battalion on June 19, 1916. Once overseas, he served with the 75th Battalion. In early October, 1918, he was evacuated from the field after being shot in the left
