Bavaria, Kingdom. A Pilot’s Badge, c. 1955 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Rigging and other topics pertaining(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Bavarian state crown, surrounding a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a vertical pinback fixed through an oval plate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of badges produced in the Federal Republic era for veteran replacement,
