Constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie style ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at both the top and bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised mobile swastika set within dual wheat stalks, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH
