Cast silvered metal with red patination, Turkish made, ball finials on the tips of the star points, measuring 56. 2 mm (w) x 54. 5 mm (h), horizontal pinback, tiny chip in the red patination on the tip of the star point at 12 o'clock, the remaining patination intact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Gallipolli Star was a military decoration awarded by the Ottoman Empire. It is also known as the Ottoman War Medal.
